Nie mam osobiście przyjemności bycia posiadaczem żadnej BJD (i nie podejrzewam, żeby miało to nastąpić w najbliższym czasie zważywszy, że kosztują one pomiędzy 300 a 900 USD za sztukę) ale fenomen ten zwrócił moją uwagę już jakiś czas temu i to nie tylko z względu na ich urodę. Większość tych oryginalnie japońskich lalek jest obecnie produkcji koreańskiej co wydaje mi się znamienne zważywszy jak dalece silną konkurencję dla Kraju Kwitnącej Wiśni stanowi w dniu dzisiejszym Korea Południowa, która poniekąd przejeła przypisaną mu tej pory funkcję refinacji extremizmów estetycznych. Polecam eksplorację koreańskiego kina: poczynając od kontrowersyjnych propozycji romantycznych Kim Ki-Duka a kończąc na perełkach horroru takich jak “Pon” (Phone), “Janghwa, Hongryeon” (A Tale of Two Sisters) czy “Gwoemul” (The Host) stopień jego wysublimowania (przynajmniej w sferze wizualnej) nie ma dziś sobie równych. Poniżej szereg linków do stron poświęconych fenomenowi ABJD zaś tym wierszu do obszernego katalogu lalek, części i akcesoriów Luts oraz do Paranoia Doll – prowadzonej ze skrajną dewocją strony z fotografiami lalek – raczej gotyckiej niż różowej a jednak… ////// No tengo el gusto de tener en mi posesión ninguna BJD (tampoco espero que esto va a ocurrir pronto debido a que cada una cuesta entre 300 a 900 dólares ) pero el fenómeno llamo mi atención desde hace tiempo ya. A pesar de su origen Japones las munecas tipo Dolfie son hoy dia producidas sobre todo en Corea del Sur lo que me parece sintomático considerando la fuerte competencia que esta es hoy para Japón. Los extremismos estéticos tan fuertemente asociados con El País del Cerezo Florido cada vez mas seguido se generan o refinan justo allí. Les recomiendo a todos exploración del contemporaneo cine coreano – empezando por controversas propuestas románticas de Kim Ki-Duk hasta múltiples joyas del cine de terror tales como: “Pon” (Phone), “Janghwa, Hongryeon” (A Tale of Two Sisters) o “Gwoemul” (The Host) – su sublimacion por lo menos cuando a la imagen no tiene equal. This incredibly fine dolls of Japanese origin are now produced mostly in South Korea. I find it very symptomatic considering the strong competition Korea is today for Japan. Somehow when Nippon expands each time more and more into Cyber-Pop Culture, Korea is assuming its traditional position as the producer of highly refined aesthetical extremisms. I strongly recommend to everybody exploration of new Korean cinema – starting from polemic romanticism of Kim Ki-Duk and ending at multiple jewels of contemporary horror like: “Pon” (Phone), “Janghwa, Hongryeon” (A Tale of Two Sisters) or “Gwoemul” (The Host) – the sublime quality of its visual culture is unique.
