Today Top Shelf Pink. It’s Beautiful. Instead of commenting a quote from my beloved Black Bishop:
She was quite a doll. She wore a white belted raincoat, no hat, a well-cherished head of platinum hair, booties to match the raincoat, a folding plastic umbrella, a pair of blue-gray eyes that looked at me as if I had said a dirty word. I helped her off with her raincoat. She smelled very nice. She had a pair of legs-so far as I could determine-that were not painful to look at. She wore night sheer stockings. I stared at them rather intently, especially when she crossed her legs and held out a cigarette to be lighted.
“Christian Dior,” she said, reading my rather open mind. “I never wear anything else. A light, please.”
“You’re wearing a lot more today,” I said, snapping a lighter for her.
“I don’t greatly care for passes this early in the morning.”

I saw (and bought) high heeled snickers for the first time during my trip to Hong Kong in 2004. Soon they become fashionable – thousands of blue eyed and UV tanned Cinderellas decided to try their luck in pseudo-sportive stilettos. Although I do not see them so often on the streets anymore seems like Nike isn’t giving up on the idea. Nice. Me like tenis-zapatilla 🙂

It’s Cindrella time again! Let me introduce pink concept shoes by United Nude. Reduced number of polygons is a pretty simple but also pretty spectacular idea. The Lo Res is part of United Nude’s digital design revolution. Computer aided design cuts the smooth rubber surface like a diamond. With a removable strap and leather foot bed, these classy and comfortable pumps will become a girl’s new best friend. In 2012 collection there is transparent neon pink version of it but in this case I rather go for the bubblegum classic. True Eye Candy. Thanks Ef 🙂

Today I would like to invite you to enjoy few pink images by London based Norwegian photographer Sølve Sundsbø. I am usually not much responsive to fashion photography but he really make my day more than once. Floating hair (Hair Storm) or projections over the body (Edita Vilkevicute ) are nothing new in this universe but Sundsbø pictures stand out in the “Great Vanity Fair” not because of its originality but they truly awesome quality. They are perfect I would even say. Nobody will tell me that Beauty is Boring – Chapeau bas Master Sundsbø 🙂
