Przeniesienie przysłowiowego “Różowego Gówna” w wymiar dosłowności zawsze wydawało mi się czymś bez czego PND! nie może się obyć. Początkowo zamierzałem po prostu nabyć atrapę kupy w jakimś sklepiku ze “śmiesznymi rzeczami” i pomalować ją na różowo ostatecznie jednak porzuciłem ten pomysł i poprzestałem na wygenerowaniu wektorowej postaci Różowego Crapmana, który w krótkim czasie stał się moim sieciowym awatarem. Jako że koncepty mają jednak tendencję do materializacji niedawno natrafiłem na Flickerze na całą armię różowych balasów: powyżej Różowe Gówna młodego chilijskiego artysty Juvenal Barría, prezentowane od 5 do 26 października 2007 na wystawie “Intervención… Borde a Centro” w galerii “Balmaceda Arte Joven” w Valparaiso.
Literal translation of the “Pink Shit” saying into an object since beginning of the project seamed to me like something that cannot be missed at PND! show. Initially I was thinking to just paint pink one of those pails of crap that one can buy at “Fun Shops” but finally I somehow abandoned the idea and limited myself to creating a vector character of Pink Crapman that soon become my web avatar. As the ideas tend to materialize sooner or later lately I found the whole field pink crap at Flicker. Above Pink Shit by Juvenal Barría, presented at the exhibition “Intervención… Borde a Centro” in “Balmaceda Arte Joven” Gallery in Valparaiso (October 5th – 26th, 2007).
Traducir la dichosa “Mierda Rosa” desde el mundo verbal hacia un objeto desde inicio del proyecto PND! me parecía una de las cosas indispensables en la exposición. inicialmente estaba pensando adquirir una cacota artificial en alguno de los puestos de “bromas” pero finalmente abandone la idea y me he limitado a crear el personaje digital concoido bajo el nombre dePink Crapman quien muy pronto se convirtió en mi avatar en la Red. Como sabemos las ideas tienden de materializarse por un u otro lado – hace poco navegando Filckr me tope con toda una manada de cerotes rosas. Arriba pueden disfrutarlos: mierda rosa elaborada cautelosamente por el joven artista chileno Juvenal Barría fue presentada en la exposición “Intervención… Borde a Centro” en la galería “Balmaceda Arte Joven” en Valparaíso (entre Octubre 5 a 26t del 2007).
