Zaraz po przyjeździe do Meksyku miałem przyjemność urwać się na tydzień w dzicz. Różową maczugę podjąłem dwa miesiące wcześniej na dworcu kolejowym w Gdyni. Cenote Eden na Jukatanie (do którego zabrał mnie mój nieoceniony szwagier Rodrigo) wydała się być idealnym miejscem na mały jaskiniowy performance – od tamtego pamiętnego dnia moja dwuletnia kuzyneczka Zoe na hasło zrób Murycego podskakuje i wykonuje rękoma charakterystyczne małpie ruchy. Zdjęcie dedykuję mojemu przyjacielowi Pedro Reyesowi, którego obsesje prehistoryczne są dla mnie nieusytającym źródłem przyjemności i inspiracji. Zainteresowanym kwestiami jaskniowymi polecam nastepujące filmy: Jaskiniowiec (reż. Carl Gottlieb, 1981), Walka o ogień (reż. Jean-Jacques Annaud. 1981) i oczywiście Milion lat przed naszą erą (reż. Don Chaffey, 1967) z niezapomnianą Raquel Welch w roli głównej. ////// Llegando a México tuve el gusto de escaparme inmediatamente a lo silvestre. El mazo rosa lo adquirí dos meses antes en la estación de trenes en Gdynia. El Cenote Edén (cerca de Playa del Carmen en Yucatán) – donde me llevo mi siempre tan amable cunado Rodrigo – resulto ser un lugar ideal para un pequeno performance cavernícola – desde aquel memorable día mi primita Zoe (22 meses) a la hora de oír “haz como Maurycy” brinca y efectúa unos movimientos bastante changunos. La foto la estoy dedicando a mi amigo Pedro Reyes cuyas fascinaciones prehistóricas me siguen divirtiendo e inspirando sin cesar. A los interesados en cuestiones cavernícolas les recomiendo siguientes películas: Cavernícola (dir. Carl Gottlieb, 1981), La lucha por el fuego (dir. Jean-Jacques Annaud. 1981) y obviamente Hace un Millón de Anos (dir. Don Chaffey, 1967) con la inolvidable Raquel Welch en papel principal. ////// Right after arriving to Mexico I had opportunity to escape to the wilderness. I got The Pink Club about two months before at Gdynia Railway Station. Cenote Eden (Yucatan) where my always so gentle brother in law Rodrigo took me – turned out to be the perfect place for little caveman performance since then my little niece Zoe (two years old) asked to do as Maurycy start to jump and makes pretty characteristic apish movements. The picture itself am dedicating to my friend Pedro Reyes whose prehistorical fantasies are for me constant amusement and inspiration. For those interested in caveman fantasy I strongly recommend following movies: Caveman (dir. Carl Gottlieb, 1981), Quest for fire (dir. Jean-Jacques Annaud. 1981) and obviously One Million Years B.C. (dir. Don Chaffey, 1967) with unforgettable Raquel Welch as main star.
