Polska jest być może jedynym na świecie krajem posiadającym oficjalne różowe odznaczenie państwowe: Medal Za Długoletnie Pożycie Małżeńskie nadawany jest parom, które przeżyły w związku małżeńskim ponad 50 lat. Ponieważ moi dziadkowie przeżyli razem 63 lata pozwoliłem sobie sam nadać im ten medel omijając niezbyt różowe organy państwowe. Medale te dość często trafiają się na Olimpii można je też znaleźć w antykwariaćie Tom na rogu Żelaznej i Solidarności dysponującym również znakomitą sekcją literatury dla dzieci w której regularnie zaopatruję się w książki z ilustracjami Jana Marcina Szancera. ////// Puede ser que Polonia sea el único país el cual tiene una condecoración oficial color de rosa: La Medalla Por Larga Vida Conyugal la cual esta otorgada a las parejas que han sobrevivido mas de 50 anos en el matrimonio. Mis abuelos estuvieron juntos durante 63 anos así que decidí otorgarles dichas medallas personalmente evitado las tan poco rosas estructuras gubernamentales. Similares medallas es relativamente fácil encontrarlas en los mercados de pulgas en Varsovia (Olimpia, Koło) también la librería de segunda mano “Tom” ubicada en la esquina de las calles Żelazna y Solidarności es un buen lugar para buscarlas. Esta ultima es una fuente perfecta de antiguos libros infantiles – mayoría de mis joyitas con ilustraciones de Jan Marcin Szancer proviene de allí. ////// Poland is possibly the only country that has official pink decoration: Medal for Long Marital Life is granted to those couples that lived over 50 years in legal marriage union. As my grandfathers lived together 63 years I decided to give this decoration myself avoiding not so pink governmental structures. Such medals you can find rather easily in the flea markets in Warsaw (like Olimpia or Koło), other good source is second-hand bookstore Tom (located on the corner of the Żelazna and Solidarności Streets) that runs small display with collectibles. Tom is also a perfect place for old children books, most of my collection of those illustrated by Jan Marcin Szancer I acquired in there.
