Z postacią Marco Vassiego po raz pierwszy zetknąłem się w trakcie lektury Erotycznego Impulsu – znakomitego zbioru textów poświęconych różnym aspektom seksualności w spektakularnym opracowaniu Davida Steinberga. Kilka miesięcy później mój niejednokrotnie wspominany na blogu przyjaciel Pedro Reyes pożyczył mi prezentowaną powyżej książeczkę. Dzieli się ona na dwie części: fabularną i esseistyczną. O ile fabuły Vassiego mimo iż dowcipne a pisane z niewątpliwym talentem nie budzą mojego histerycznego entuzjazmu (z wyjątkiem może Królestwa Orgazmu – doskonałego opowiadania onanistyczno-mistycznego) o tyle esseje są bardzo poważną propozycją rewizji naszych wyobrażeń o seksualności. Zmarły kilka lat temu na AIDS Marco Vassi jest twórcą teorii Metaseksu a jako człowiek, który jak sam się deklaruje spał z setkami kobiet i mężczyzn wydaje się posiadać nie tylko teoretyczne podstawy do wypowiadania się w kwestii totalnego wyzwolenia. ////// Con el Marco Vassi me tope por primera vez a la hora de leer El Impulso erotico – un excelente conjunto de textos sobre los distintos aspectos de la sexualidad reunido y comentado por David Steinberg. Unos meses después mi, frecuentemente mencionado en este blog, amigo Pedro Reyes me ha prestado Las Comedias Eróticas. El libro se divide en dos partes: fábulas y ensayos. Las fábulas de Vassi aun que escritas con talento, inteligencia y humor no me acaban de fascinar del todo (con la excepción quizás del “Reino del Orgasmo” – un excelente cuento masturbatorio-místico) por otro lado sus ensayos se me hacen una de las mas atrevidas propuestas de revisión de nuestro concepto de sexualidad. Vassi quien falleció hace unos anos a causa de SIDA es el creador de la teoría de Metasexo, siendo una persona que se declara haber hecho amor con centenares de mujeres y hombres parece tener mas que fundamento teórico para opinar en la materia de la liberación total. ////// Marco Vassi appeared for the first time in my life when I read The Erotic Impulse – a spectacular selection of texts about different aspects of sexuality united and commented by David Steinberg. Few month later my, frequently mentioned on this blog, friend Pedro Reyes lend me Vassi “Erotic Comedies” a book that is divided in two parts: fictions and essays. Although written with talent, intelligence and humor Vassi’s fictions do not impress me so strongly (with the exception may be of “Kingdom of Orgasm” – excellent masturbatory-mystical story), the matter is different with essays – those I find one of the most daring proposals of revision of our concept of sexuality. Vassi whom died from AIDS few years ago was an creator of the theory of “Metasex” and as a person who slept, according to his own words, with hundreds of woman and man seams to have more than theoretical basis to gave opinion in matters of total liberation.
