Dzisiaj J-POP PINK czyli Kawaii na całego choć może nie koniecznie w najlepszym wydaniu. Nie udało mi się niestety zidentyfikować grupy z nazwy ale takich małoletnich gwiazdeczek w Japonii wiele a ich obecność i wpływ na świadomość powszechną są niekwestionowalne. Powtarzając za Frederikiem L. Shodtem (“Dreamland Japan”, “Manga! Manga!”) “overemphasis of prepubescent cuteness” pozostaje obowiązującą normą w Kraju Kwitnącej Wiśni. “Gawęda” byłaby tam napewno hitem – 18 lat dla dziewczyny to już raczej konkretna emerytura. Zainteresowanym blurami gatunkowymi polecam “Suicide Club”, (Jisatsu Saakuru) (reż. Sion Sono, 2002) – film, który nie do końca spełnił moje oczekiwania ale jest interesującym konglomeratem horroru, gore, fetyszyzmu młodości/śmierci i popowego mistycyzmu. A swoją drogą odchłanie filozoficzno-mistyczne w japońskim popie to kuszący obszar do eksploracji 🙂 ////// Hoy J-POP PINK entonces Kawaii a todo dar aun que tampoco de lo mejor. No logre identificar el grupo pero semejantes estrellitas preadolescentes abundan en Japón y tanto su presencia como influencia en la conciencia común son incuestionables. Repitiendo tras Frederik L. Shodt (“Dreamland Japan”, “Manga! Manga!”) “overemphasis of prepubescent cuteness” sigue siendo la norma marcadísima en la Tierra del Cerezo Florido. A los dieciocho anos una chica prácticamente ya esta fuera de la jugada. Para los interesados en cruce de géneros les recomiendo “Suicide Club”, (Jisatsu Saakuru) (dir. Sion Sono, 2002) – la película cual a lo mejor no cumplió con mis expectativas pero hace un conglomerado interesante entre horror, gore, pop-misticismo y fetichismo de joventud/muerte. Por otro lado los abismos filosófico-místicos en el pop japones son una zona de exploración muy tentadora 🙂 ////// Today J-POP PINK so plenty of Kawaii although not at its best. I din not find the name of the actual band but similar pre-adolescent starlets are abundant in Japan and as much its presence as influence are unquestionable. Repeating after Frederik L. Shodt (“Dreamland Japan”, “Manga! Manga!”) “overemphasis of prepubescent cuteness” keeps being a normative in “The Land of Blossoming Cherry”. The 18-year-old girl is basically out of the game. To the interested I would like to recommend “Suicide Club”, (Jisatsu Saakuru) (dir. Sion Sono, 2002) – the movie, which even if not fulfilled my expectations makes interesting case of gender blur between horror, gore, pop-mysticism and youth/death fetishism. From the other hand – the philosophical – mystical abysses of Japanese Pop are quite a subject 🙂
